PREFACE

This instruction manual explains to you how to operate the ED 825. It provides information on adjustments and
gives a guideline on what to do in case of a malfunction.
Read the instructions and safety regulations carefully before you start working with the machine. Make sure that
this manual is available to any person working with the fertiliser spreader. Incorrect use of the ED 825 may cause
damage which is not covered by the guarantee conditions.
In case a malfunction happens for which this manual offers no solution, please consult your dealer.
We recommend to use only Vicon spare parts to replace parts. Problems caused by the use of non-original Vicon
spare parts may render the guarantee void. The same applies if sealed parts (such as the boxes containing the
electronics) are opened.
Continuous developments on machines and software make it important that you use the correct software version
for your machine. Later versions may support functions your machine does not have
The ED 825 system bears a plate with a serial number. Please enter this number below, together with the date of
purchase. This information may be important later for any correspondence and when ordering spare parts.

SAFETY REGULATIONS

- The tractor may only be driven by trained personnel. Make sure that the person working with the machine has
read this instruction manual.
- Always switch off the power with the ON/OFF switch on the control box and pull the 12 V power plug of the
machine casing from its socket before approaching the metering plates with your hands.
- Always first stop the tractor engine and switch off the power before you start cleaning, lubricating or adjusting
the spreader.
- Conceal all cables and electric connections carefully, so that nobody will get their hands or feet caught behind
them.
