SPECIAL FUNCTIONS

4.1

Hectare counter function

When the computer is switched on without spreader, it will indicate after some five seconds that there is no
communication with the machine casing and start to function as hectare counter. The distance covered and the number
of hectares will only be counted after you have pressed
distance covered and the hectares.
4.2

Dealer menu

Simultaneously pressing
(This is not possible when you are in the selection menu.)
The display will show:
Press to scroll past the PIN code.
The display will show the software version.

4.2.1 Actuator calibration

- Pressing once more will call up the following screen:
- Press or to select the actuator to be calibrated. One of the red lamps must be off.
- Keep depressed until both discharge openings are fully open.
- Then press . Now the actuator will close and it is calibrated.
- Now select the other actuator and calibrate it in the same manner.
NOTE: You must recalibrate the actuators in the following cases.
- After an actuator has been replaced.
- After the computer has been reset to the default values.
- After a memory error.
4.2.2 Setting the spreader type
Pressing once more will call up the following screen:
For RS - M
For RS - XL
This screen shows the spreader type for which the ED 825 system is set.
NOTE: The ED 825 system calculates the disc rpm on the basis of this information.
After resetting to the default values, the spreader type must be reselected. Select with
