Troubleshooting table

Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean there is a
defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you can correct the
malfunction.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. You can put
your own and future users' lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to
carry out this repair work.
Problem
Cooking zone and
ovens which are not
functioning.
Fissures or cracks in the
hob.
The oven light switches
off.
The oven light does not
light up.
The cooking compart-
ment light is defective.
The external cooling
fan is not working; no
air released from the air
locks and they are very
hot.
External cooling fan
keeps running.
Possible solutions/tips
The power supply has been interrupted. Check the fuses for the
cooker set on the fuse box in the home. In case of doubt, connect
our Service Centre (see „Our Service Centre" on page GB-28).
Switch all cooking zones off immediately and cease to use the appli-
ance. Contact our Service Centre (see „Our Service Centre" on page
GB-28).
The oven temperature has been reached. The light switches back
on if the oven is subsequently heated.
First check that the appliance is still working (see above). If the light
is defective, contact our Service Centre (see „Our Service Centre"
on page GB-28).
Replace the defective bulb for the cooking compartment lighting (see
„Replacing oven light bulbs" on page GB-21). Notice: Defective bulbs
do not fall under our warranty.
The external ventilation system will only switch on at a temperature
of 70 °C. If the ventilation system does not make a sound and no
air is emitted even when the temperature is increasing, the ventila-
tion system is defective.
CAUTION!
Risk of burns!
Open the oven door, switch the appliance off and do not

continue to use the oven. Contact our Service Centre (see
„Our Service Centre" on page GB-28).
No defect. The external cooling will run for a while and then shut off
automatically.
