Preparing food

The following conditions must be fulfilled:
– The worktop must be at least 30 to 40 mm
thick and at least 600 mm deep. It must
also be horizontal and level and must be
sealed on the wall side against overflowing
liquids.
– The hob must be surrounded by at least
50 mm of worktop on all sides.
– Veneers, plastic coverings and adhesives
which are used must be resistant to heat
(100°C).
1. Use a jigsaw to cut a hole in the worktop
for the hob. It must have the following
dimensions.

2. If a hob was already installed, the cut-out
section must be no larger than:
Width: 574 mm
Depth: 492 mm

3. Attach adjustment strips to the left and to
the right of the worktop in order to achieve
the width of 560 mm.
4. Seal the cut surfaces with a special
varnish, silicone sealant or cast resin to
prevent swelling caused by moisture.

Installing the hob

NOTICE
Risk of breakage!
Do not place the hob on the glass ce-
ramic edge!
1. Take the hob out of the packaging.
2. Remove all packaging parts and protec-
tive films.
3. Carefully place the hob (residual heat
indicators at the front) in the middle of the
worktop cut-out.
