Troubleshooting table
Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean
there is a defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you
can correct the malfunction.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. You can put
your own and future users' lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to
carry out this repair work.
Problem
Fissures or cracks in the
hob.
Cooking zones not
working, blank display.
The residual heat indi-
cator is not illuminated,
although the cooking
zone(s) remain(s) hot.
The time '
' is shown
0: 0 0
on the display.
A cooking zone automat-
ically switches off and
is shown on the display.
The induction hob is
making noises.
The red oven light (9)
switches off.
Possible solutions/tips
Switch all cooking zones off immediately and cease to use the appli-
ance. Contact our Service team (see page EN-36).
The power supply has been interrupted.
• Check the fuse for the cooker in the domestic fuse box.
• In case of doubt, connect our Service Centre (see page EN-36).
There was a brief power failure or the power supply is cut off. The
residual heat indicator will respond only once the cooking zone(s) are
switched on or off again. This is not a product malfunction.
There was a brief power failure or the power supply was temporari-
ly cut off.
• Set the time (see „Setting/changing the time" on page EN-27).
The maximum operating time has been exceeded.
• If required, turn the cooking zone on again.

This is not a product malfunction. See „Noise emission with hob use"
on page EN-10 for the normal sounds the induction hob makes.
The set oven temperature has been reached. The oven light
switches on again automatically when the temperature drops.
