• Place 1 layer of Carbon-Fiber Cloth medially and laterally up to the
condylar area
• Place 1 layer of Carbon-Fiber Cloth (about 8 cm = 3.2 in. wide) circularly
bellow the patella.
• Tie a double layer of the Nylglass Stockinette onto the adapter and reflect
• Tie 1 /2 layers of 616G13 Fiberglass Stockinette onto the Adapter and

reflect.
• Tie a double layer of the Nylglass Stockinette onto the adapter and reflect
• Pull over a soaked PVA bag and tie on proximally.
5 Assembly
The Shuttle Lock is delivered with the locking mechanism release button
(5) installed, ready for trial fitting. To finish the cosmetic foam cover, remove
only the plastic sleeve of the release button.
If the complete Unlocking Mechanism (5) was dismantled, it must be tight-
ened to 10 Nm again during assembly.The torque for clamping screw of the
Shuttle Lock Housing (4) is 10 Nm.
Attention!
Fully screw the Shuttle Lock Housing (4) into the Lamination An-
chor (1)! When positioning the locking mechanism, unscrew the
Shuttle Lock Housing by a maximum of 270°. Unscrewing it in
any further will increase the risk of fracturing the Shuttle Lock
Housing. After mounting the Shuttle Lock Housing, tighten the
501Z2=M5×22 Screw to 10 Nm using the 710D4 Torque Wrench
and secure with 636K13 Loctite.
Whenever grinding inside the socket, protect the shuttle lock from dirt by
sealing the lock orifice with tape or a piece of clean cloth.
To finish the cosmetic foam cover, remove only the plastic sleeve of the
release button.
Secure the Pin with 636K13 Loctite 241, screw it into the liner's threads
and tighten to 3 Nm (2.2 lbf. ft., 27 lbf. in.) using the 710D1 Torque Wrench
or equivalent.
