The 6A20=30 Kit can also be used instead of the 6A10=T/6A20=12 Shuttle
Lock for the Ottobock Silicone Liner. In this case, however, the distal air
chamber of the Silicone Liner will no longer be inflatable.
4 Recommendation for Socket Reinforcement
4.1 Preparation of Socket Adapter
Lubricate the adapter and clamping screw with silicone grease. Fill the
openings in the range of clamping screw with Plasta Tape.
4.2 Reinforcement
• Fix the Domed Dummy with enclosed screw to the extension of the plaster
positive.
• Pull on a soaked PVA bag
• Pull on a double layer of Nylglass Stockinette and tie it on in the Domed
Dummy groove.
• Screw the Socket Adapter with the enclosed Threaded Dummy and place
it on the Domed Dummy.
Attention!
The anchor arms must be aligned in the AP and ML directions.
The lamination anchor clamp should not be positioned so that
it is aligned in the walking direction. If the clamp is in the wrong
position, the lamination anchor cannot be supported. This would
result in an overloading of the connection adapter, and could da-
mage the adapter
Attention!
Prior to definitive use, clean the threads of the lamination anchor
and of the screwed insert or connection adapter with acetone.
• Place the 616G4 Fiberglass Matting under the anchor arms
• Place 1 layer of 616G12 Carbon-Fiber Cloth under the anchor arms
• Thread the 699B1 Fiberglass Roving through anchor arms and let it hang
in loops
• Place the Carbon-Fiber Cloth over the anchor arms
