Transport

Only transport the diaphragm globe valve

Delivery and performance

Check that all parts are present and

receipt.
The scope of delivery is apparent from

the dispatch documents and the design
from the order number.
The performance of the diaphragm globe

valve is checked at the factory.

Storage

Store the diaphragm globe valve free

from dust and moisture in its original
package.
Avoid UV rays and direct sunlight.

Maximum storage temperature: 40 °C.

Solvents, chemicals, acids, fuels or

similar fl uids must not be stored in the
same room as diaphragm globe valves.

Opening the packaging

The GEMÜ diaphragm globe valve is sealed
in two plastic bags and packed in a box.
Do not open box in the cleanroom!

Carefully open box outside the
cleanroom. Do not use a knife or
pointed object. Avoid tearing open the
outer plastic bag!

Labeled GEMÜ box contains the double
sealed high purity diaphragm globe valve.
Avoid tearing open the outer plastic
bag! Only open internal Nylon-
PE plastic bag in the cleanroom
immediately prior to installation!

Functional description

The GEMÜ C50 HPW is a diaphragm
globe valve iComLine
body. The diaphragm globe valve has a
low maintenance piston actuator with an
integrated optical position indicator and a
leak detection port. All medium wetted parts
are made of PFA or PTFE. The external
actuator parts are made of PVDF. The union
nuts are available in PVDF, PFA and C-PFA.
Depending on the actuator size a stroke
limiter is available as standard or as an
option. Customized multi-port valve block
solutions on request.
