8 Decommissioning
8.1 Final decommissioning
Before disposing of the device, you must
perform the final decommissioning:
f Replace faulty device.
f Remove the batteries and dispose
of them separately. (See chapter 8.2
"Disposal" on page 44)
8.2 Disposal
According to ElektroG and BattG
(German Electrical and Electronic Devices
Act and German battery law), this device
as well as the batteries it contains may
not be disposed of with domestic waste.
f Return the appliance to be discard-
ed to the manufacturer for further
utilization, or hand it over to your
local waste disposal company.
f Dispose of batteries at the local
collection point.
f Note that improper disposal can
cause harm to the environment.
