with the RWM MC, you can read out the
smoke alarm device:
(1) Ensure that the RWM MC and the
smoke alarm device are switched on.
f Observe the operating manual for
the smoke alarm device.
5 After initialisation of the software
is complete, the message "Melder
auslesen - Bestätigen" (Read out
device - Confirm) appears:
(2) Press the Start button.

informs you of the progress of the

"RWM geprüft" (Device proofed) or
"Verschmutzt" (Contaminated).
One signal tone
If there is no smoke alarm device
connected, or the device is defective,
you will see the message "FEHLER -
Verbindung fehlgeschlagen - Kabel
prüfen sonst Melder defekt / Batt. leer"
(ERROR - connection failed - check
cable, otherwise detector defec-
tive / battery empty) (see chapter 5.6
"Malfunctions" on page 40).
