6.3 Storage
If you want to store the device for a
longer period of time, please observe
the following:
(1) Ensure that the environment is dry.
(Not above 70 % rel. humidity)
(2) Ensure that the environment is
dust-free.
(3) Only store the device in interior
rooms (5 to 35° C).
(4) Avoid impacts and mechanical
damage.

7 Maintenance

You must perform a visual inspection and
clean the device at regular intervals
independently.

7.1 Visual inspection

Perform a visual inspection at regular in-
tervals or before each use:
Ensure that the device is not dam-

aged.
f Check the triangular plug of the
adapter cable and the slot on the
smoke alarm device for contami-
nation as well as possible inter-
fering edges and remove them if
necessary.
f Ensure that the contacts of the
triangular plug are not damaged
or bent.
7.2 Cleaning
Note the following when cleaning:
f Clean the device with care, e.g. with
a damp cloth.
