If the smoke alarm device emits a test tone,
the readout procedure must be repeated.
f Repeat the readout procedure.
(See chapter 5.3 "Reading out the
smoke alarm device" on page 34)
5.7 Switch off the RWM MC
Switch off the RWM MC as follows:
f Press and hold the Start button for
3 seconds.
or
Wait for 80 seconds until the device
f
switches itself off automatically (see chap-
ter "Energy-saving mode" on page 32).
5 RWM MC will turn of.

and storage
6.1 Packaging
If you want to package the device for
transport (e.g. to send it in to your re-
tailer), then please observe the following:
(1) Select suitable packaging material.
The package may not be too big
or too small.
(2) To protect the device against slip-
ping, used fill material.
(3) Carefully close the packaging.
6.2 Transport
If you want to send a packaged device to
your retailer, please observe the following:
f Do not throw or drop the package.
