Using the pulse belt
Use the pulse belt provided (89) to measure
your pulse during training.
Insert a coin in the groove on the
transmitter's battery cover and turn the cover
until it can be lifted off .
Insert a CR2032 button cell battery
(provided) in the battery space in the
transmitter.

Replace the battery cover.
Make sure to � t the rubber seal correctly
and tighten the battery cover so that sweat
and moisture cannot get into the battery
compartment and transmitter.
Click the transmitter securely to the buttons
on the pulse belt.

Moisten the electrodes on the pulse belt
using water or a conductive gel.
Tighten the pulse belt around your bare
chest as illustrated by securing the hook to
the other end of the belt.
If necessary, adjust the pulse belt so that it
remains in place during training.

Cleaning the pulse belt
Remove the transmitter from the pulse belt
before cleaning.
Wash the pulse belt regularly in lukewarm
water with mild soap and dry with a soft
towel. Make sure you do not scratch or pull
the electrodes.
The pulse belt must be completely dry before
putting into storage in a dry, cool place.
Wipe the transmitter with a clean, dry cloth.
If the rowing machine cannot register a
signal from the pulse belt, replace the
batteries in the transmitter and/or move
closer to the rowing machine's computer.
The rowing machine can function with all
pulse belts transmitting on 5.3 kHz.

Cleaning and maintenance

Wipe the rowing machine down regularly
with a well-wrung cloth.
Check the condition of the rowing machine
regularly and tighten any bolts, screws and
nuts as necessary.
