If you are using the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C2230i/C2225i/C2220i
The PS Printer Kit or Direct Print Kit (for PDF/XPS) is required to print PDF files. (If the PS Printer Kit is used, the Direct Print Kit (for PDF/XPS) is not required.)

If you are using the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C2220L

The Color Universal Send Kit is required to use an Advanced Space on the network.

You can only print JPEG/TIFF files.
Using Memory Media
USB Settings
●Press → [Preferences] → [External
Interface] → [USB Settings] → [Use MEAP
Driver for External USB Device].
Select [Off ].

Flow of Basic Operations

Client Machine
Logging In to the Machine as an Administrator
Displaying the Store Location
●Press → [Preferences] → [Display Settings] → [Store Location Display Settings].
Select [On] for each item. The default setting is [Off ] for memory media.
External Reference
●Press → [Function Settings] → [Store/
Access Files] → [Network Settings].
1. Specify [Network Place Settings].
2. Specify [Protocol for External Reference].
Restart (The settings become effective.)

Using Advanced Space on the Network
Network Connection:
Network (TCP/IP, AppleTalk, Netware) or USB
Network Settings: SMB/CIFS
(only if necessary)
