MAINTENANCE
During the development of our new generation of RECARO commercial vehicle seats,
we attached particular importance to ensuring their reliability and robustness. For this
reason, they will not normally require lubrication or oiling. However, if you do still wish
to carry out such measures, we recommend using Castrol Viscogen KL 300 lubricant.
We also recommend avoiding lubricants containing sulphates (sulphur) to prevent
corrosion damage.
Important: Under no circumstances should you lubricate or oil safety-related adjust-
ment elements, such as the backrest adjustment, shoulder support adjustment or
seat tilt adjustment.
