[Setting] menu
■ [Capture] z
This function enables you to capture an image
being projected to use it for a starting-up display
or background screen.
1) Select [Capture], and press the
<SELECT> button.
z
z The confirmation screen is displayed.
2) Press ▲▼ to select [Yes].
z
z The projected image is captured.
z
z By selecting [User] in [Logo select], the
captured image will be displayed the next time
you turn on the projector.
Note
z The capture function is canceled when you select
[Yes] in the [Quit?] screen.
z Before capturing an image, select [Standard] in
the [Image select] menu to capture a proper image
( page 49).

z When capturing the image that has been adjusted
by the keystone function, the adjusted data is
automatically reset and the projector captures an
image without keystone correction.
z When [Logo PIN code lock] is set to [On], [Capture]
cannot be selected.
z When starting to capture a new image, the
previously stored image is cleared even if you
cancel the capturing.
z When there is no captured image or it is interrupted
while capturing an image, [User] cannot be
selected, you can only switch between [Default]
and [Off].
■ [Logo PIN code lock] z
Sets the system to make the setting and changing
of the "logo" only by the administrator.
1) Select [Logo PIN code lock], and press
the <SELECT> button.
z
z The PIN code input screen is displayed.
2) Press ▲▼◀▶ or the number (<0> -
<9>) buttons to enter your pin code.
3) Press ▲▼◀▶ to select [Set].
4) Press the <SELECT> button.
z
z If the PIN code is accepted, the projector
returns to the sub menu 2.
5) Press ▲▼ to switch the setting.
[Off]
The logo selection can be changed
[Off]
without the PIN code.
The PIN code is required to change
[On]
the logo selection.

Note
z The entered PIN code is displayed with * mark on
the screen.
z The factory default setting for the logo PIN code is
"4321".
z To re-enter a number, press ◀▶ to select the digit
to re-enter, then use the ▲▼ or number (<0> -
<9>) buttons to re-select the number.
z Move the cursor to [Cancel] and press the
<SELECT> button to return to the sub menu 2.
z If [Logo PIN code] and the number are displayed in
red, an error has occurred. Re-enter the number.
■ [Logo PIN code change] z
Changes the logo PIN code.
1) Select [Logo PIN code change], and
press the <SELECT> button.
z
z The PIN code input screen is displayed.
2) Press ▲▼◀▶ or the number (<0> -
<9>) buttons to enter your pin code.
3) Press ▲▼◀▶ to select [Set].
4) Press the <SELECT> button.
z
z If the PIN code is accepted, the new logo PIN
code is displayed on the screen.
5) Press ▲▼◀▶ or the number (<0> -
<9>) buttons to set your new PIN code.
6) Press the <SELECT> button.
7) Select [Yes], and press the <SELECT>
button.
z
z If the PIN code is accepted, the projector
returns to the sub menu 2.

z To re-enter a number, press ◀▶ to select the digit
to re-enter, then press ▲▼ or the number (<0> -
<9>) buttons to re-select the number.
z Move the cursor to [Cancel] and press the
<SELECT> button to return to the sub menu 2.
