THROTTLE CABLE ADJUSTMENT

To check the correct adjustment of the throttle ca-
ble, operate as follows:
- close tap (1) and tap (2) on the tank;
- disconnect tube (3) from the tank;
- loosen screw (4) and remove the tank;
- loosen screw (5) and remove the protection cover
(6);
- turn throttle twistgrip (7) and make sure it has
about 0.08 in. free play;
- if it is not so, loosen the lock nuts (8) and suitably
turn the adjuster screws (9) (loosen to decrease
play or tighten to increase it);
- tighten back the lock nuts (8);
- reassemble all parts, in the reverse order com-
pared to disassembly.
