Water inlet
The water level in the constructed or op-
tional storage tank is maintained at a con-
stant level using a swimmer valve. In case
of problems the water flows over the over-
flow. If the water level is low, then the float
switch gives an error message to the con-
trols. The pumps are switched off to avoid
dry run.

High-pressure pumps
Each high pressure pump is driven by an
electrical motor. The pumps transport the wa-
ter under high pressure to the high pressure
collective pipe. The pressure tank smoothens
out the water pressure pulsating through the
piston strokes. The bypass valve is opened
during startup. The motors can be started
without load. The starting pressure of the
pump can be read from the manometer.
Controls
In order to reduce the start current, pump 2
starts time-delayed for HD 60/6 K2 and
HD 60/10 K2. If two or more nozzles are
blocked in the washing bay, the pressure
switch causes the pumps to switch off. At the
next high-pressure request from the control of
the vehicle washing plant, the high-pressure
module is in standby mode again. The safety
valves ensure additional safety.
High pressure side
If there are several pumps present, the
high-pressure water is combined in the
high-pressure collecting line. The control
opens the bypass valve to relieve pressure
during switching operations. Then the wa-
ter flows back into the storage tank with lit-
tle resistance. The water reaches the un-
dercarriage wash or the high-pressure noz-
zles of the vehicle washing plant via the
high-pressure distributor.

Operation

Switch-off in case of emergency
 Turn the emergency-stop switch to "0".
 Shut off water supply.
Start up
 Open the water supply.
 Turn the emergency-stop switch to "1".
The controls of the washing unit switched on
subsequently auotmatically control the pumps.
Shutting down
 Turn the emergency-stop switch to "0".
 Shut off water supply.
Frost protection (optional)
The high pressure module must be in-
stalled at an anti-frost place. The pipe con-
nections to the washing unit and the wash-
ing unit itself must be protected against
frost damages using anti-frost equipment.
Shutdown
Rinse the high pressure module with a anti-
frost solution before shutting down the high
pressure module during the frost period.

Transport

CAUTION
Risk of injury and damage! Observe the
weight of the appliance when you transport it.
 When transporting in vehicles, secure
the appliance according to the guide-
lines from slipping and tipping over.

Storage

CAUTION
Risk of injury and damage! Note the weight
of the appliance in case of storage.
