101. Use a fl at fi le to make two 1/4-inch (6mm) wide fl at
areas on the axle to provide a secure area to tighten the
wheel collar setscrews.
102. Secure the axle to the landing gear using two 3.5mm
wrenches. Use threadlock on both nuts to prevent them
from vibrating loose.
103. Secure the 5/32-wheel collar to the axle. Apply
threadlock to the M3 setscrew before tightening it using
a 1.5mm hex wrench. Apply a drop of light machine oil
on the axle.
104. Secure the wheel to the axle using a 5/32-inch wheel
collar and an M3 setscrew. Apply threadlock to the
setscrew before tightening it using a 1.5mm hex wrench.
105. Attach the wheel pants to the landing gear using two
M3 x 10 button head screws and two M3 washers. Use
threadlock on the screws to prevent them from vibrating
loose.

 GAS ENGINE INSTALLATION
 If you are installing an electric power system
in your aircraft, skip to the Receiver Installation
for Electric Motor Installation section.
106. Place the mounting template on the fuselage. Use low-
tack tape to keep the template held tightly in position
during drilling. Use a 5/32-inch (2mm) drill bit to drill the
holes necessary to mount your particular motor choice.
107. Use a drill and 7/32-inch (5.5mm) drill bit to enlarge the
holes to mount the engine.
108. Use a drill and 5/32-inch (4mm) drill bit to drill the hole
for the throttle pushrod.
109. Use sandpaper to lightly sand the length of the throttle
pushrod tube. Use a paper towel and isopropyl alcohol to
remove any oils or debris from the tube.
110. Use medium CA to glue the tube in the fi rewall. Leave
1/4 inch (6mm) of the tube exposed forward of the
fi rewall.
 Make sure the CA does not enter into the tube, which
could make the installation of the pushrod wire difficult.
