Intended use
The chain mortiser is designed exclusively for mortising
and cutting grooves in solid wood.
Any other usage is to be considered not within the inten-
ded range of application. The manufacturer is not liable
for damages resulting from such usage and the user is the
only one to be held responsible for the risks involved.
Observation of the conditions for operation, maintenance
and servicing prescribed by the manufacturer makes part
of the intended range of application.
The chain mortiser may only be used, maintained and
serviced by such persons who are competent for this,
who are familiar with the electric tool and have been
informed about all the dangers concerned.
For free-hand mortising, use only chain cutting tools
designed for maximum mortising depth of 100 mm.
The range of applications and operation modes may
be extended by using the accessories listed in this
Operating Manual.
The user is solely liable for damage and accidents caused
by improper use of the product.
For safe work with this electric tool and prevention of injury,
it is imperative to follow all generally accepted safety
principles and regulations for prevention of accidents,
and read the enclosed „Safety instructions" thoroughly.
The manufacturer disclaims liability for damages caused
by unauthorized modifications or using other than the
supplied or specified accessories with the electric tool.
Safety instructions
This electric tool may only be used, maintained and repaired
by the people who have received the relevant instructions.
These people must have reached the minimum age legally
required. For safe work and familiarizing with all the
remaining risks, they must have read and understood
