ENERGY SAVING TIPS

• Do not impede the passage of air in the vicinity of
the inlet and outlet grills, to avoid any drop in
performance and the risk of product stoppage.
• Avoid exposing the product to direct sunlight.
• Do not set a temperature that is too high in heating
mode (HEAT) or too low in cooling mode (COOL).
• Do not open or close doors and windows too often;
constant exchange of heat with the outside
interferes with the working of the air conditioner.
• Do not use the unit with the FLAP closed.

AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM OPERATING MODES

The unit is built with INVERTER technology, thanks to
which it is possible to adjust the power delivered by
the compressor and therefore determine the
cooling/heating capacity.
The microprocessor equipping the unit checks the
difference between the ambient temperature and the
setting and, taking account of the reduction/increase
in the ambient temperature, governs the operation of
the compressor.
AUTO mode (automatic operation)
When AUTO operating mode is set, the air
conditioner automatically sets itself to cooling mode
(COOL), heating mode (HEAT) or fan mode
according to the room temperature selected,
maintaining the room temperature stable close to that
level.
Mode COOL
1 hour
DRY mode (dehumidification)
DRY mode automatically sets the dehumidifier
function based on the difference between the set
temperature and the actual room temperature.
In DRY mode, during the dehumidification process the
temperature is adjusted via alternate cycles in cooling
(COOL) and fan mode. During this phase the fan
turns at minimum speed, and the speed cannot be
adjusted (fig. 9).

• Use the TIMER function to increase the product use
efficiency.
• Use the "SLEEP" function during the night to save
more energy.
• Clean the air filters regularly to ensure that
performance remains unchanged.
SLEEP mode (night-time operation)
When setting night-time operation (SLEEP) with the
unit in cooling mode (COOL), the set temperature will
increase by 1°C after 1 hour, by 2°C after 2 hours,
then will stabilise at the new value reached.
Alternatively, if this function (SLEEP) is set with the
unit in heating mode (HEAT), the set temperature will
decrease by 1°C after 1 hour, by 2°C after 2 hours,
then will stabilise at the new value reached (fig. 8).
