Precaution:
• The unit must not be exposed to atmospheric
conditions such as rain, direct sunlight, etc. (except
for the External Unit).
• Do not allow aggressive chemical substances to
come into contact with the unit.
• Do not leave objects standing on the units.
• The units must be installed by a professionally
qualified electrician.
• Always ensure that the resting surface of the
Internal and External Units are safe and solid.
• Do not install the Internal Unit in laundry rooms.
• Do not install the Internal and External Units closer
to corners and walls than specified in the
Installation Manual.
• Never position the air conditioning system next to
cooking hobs or other heat sources. The ejected air
flow could have a negative effect on combustion.
• Always turn the unit off when it is not in use.
• Never use this appliance without filters.
• Do not cover or obstruct the Internal and External
Unit inlet or outlet grilles.

• The flow of treated air must be clean (that is free of
grease, soot, chemical and corrosive agents, and
explosive or flammable mixtures).
• Should the appliance be dropped or suffer a heavy

If the appliance does not function correctly, stop
using it and contact Vortice* immediately.
• Periodically check the state of the Internal Unit
support brackets, if there are any.
• Never rest heavy objects on the power cable, and
make sure that it is never compressed.
• Turn the air conditioning system off in case of high
winds.
• Never turn the units off directly from the mains.
• Disconnect the unit from the mains before
performing maintenance operations.
• Avoid using fuses with a resistance that differs from
the required one.
• Never wash the units using jets of water or pressure
washers.
