REGULATING THE AIR FLOW DIRECTION

Proper orientation of the air flow from the Internal Unit
is essential to guarantee room comfort and even
temperature distribution.
The air conditioning unit automatically adjusts the
vertical direction of the air flow according to the
operating mode that has been set (fig. 5).
To change the tilt of the powered horizontal flap
(FLAP), press the SWING button on the remote
control with the unit working (fig. 6).
To direct the flow of conditioned air to the right or left,
turn the deflectors located under the FLAP manually
(fig. 7), taking care not to damage the FLAP itself and
not to injure yourself by touching the fan beneath.
To start the FLAP swinging, directing the flow of air
alternately from the top downward and vice versa, so
as to guarantee even distribution throughout the
room, press the SWING button on the remote control.
Press the button again to stop the flap from swinging.
N.B.
• In COOL mode it is recommended that the flap be
directed horizontally.
• In HEAT mode it is recommended that the flap be
directed downward (hot air always tends to rise).
Caution
• Never turn the FLAP manually, as this may damage
the delicate drive mechanism.
• The SWING button on the remote control is not
active when the air conditioning unit is turned off
(even if the timer has been set for delayed start-up).
• Never use the conditioner in COOL or DRY
(dehumidification) mode for a long time with the
FLAP turned so as to direct the flow of air
downwards, to ensure that the condensation
forming of the surface does not fall onto the floor or
furniture below.
• If the conditioner is started up again immediately
after stopping, the FLAP might not move for
approximately 10 seconds.
• Do not restrict the angle of aperture of the
conditioner FLAP too much when operating in
COOL or HEAT mode, to avoid insufficient
performance due to an inadequate air flow aperture.
• When the conditioner is connected to the mains
power supply, the FLAP may emit a noise for
approximately 10 seconds.
