Possible cause/solution
• Is the exhaust air valve in the handle open? Close
it.
• Is the suction force dial set to a low level? Turn the
dial.
• Is the dust bag full? Change the dust bag.
• Are the fi lters heavily soiled? Clean them.
• Is the nozzle, the telescopic tube or the suction
hose clogged? Pull out the mains plug and clear
the clogging.
• Check whether the fi lters are inserted correctly
and whether the dust container is closed correctly.
Also check whether the dust bag is inserted cor-
rectly. Correct this if necessary.
• A smell often develops when new devices are fi rst
used. The smell should disappear after you have
used the device several times
