3. Assemble the device (see chapter "Assembling the device").
NOTICE: Water residue in the tank is attributed to previous quality assurance testing of the
device.

Assembling the device

ATTENTION!
❐ Danger of electrocution! During assembly or disassembly the device must not be connected
to the power supply and must have cooled off.
1. Carefully place all accessories on a level surface. As a precautionary measure, set down a
protective foil to prevent any damage to sensitive surfaces.

Mounting/removing the cleaning head

2. Insert the main unit (5) in the bracket (14). The main unit must audibly
lock into place.
To remove the main unit, e.g. for use as a hand-held steam cleaner,
press the release button for the main unit (4) and pull the main unit
out at the same time.
3. Insert the end of the handle bar in the top opening of the
main unit. The handle bar must audibly lock into place.
To lengthen/shorten the handle bar, fl ip the latch for the telescoping
pole (2) up, pull or push the telescoping pole to the desired length and
fl ip the latch back down.
To remove the handle bar, press the release button (3) and pull the
handle bar out at the same time.
Insert the end of the cleaning head (8) into the steam nozzle (7)
on the main unit.
To remove the cleaning head, simply pull it out.
The rubber layer of the fl oor cloth (20) allows it to stick to the
cleaning head. Start with the longest side (at the back) and slip
the cloth over the cleaning head. After use, simply pull it off of the
cleaning head starting on one side.
To clean carpets, place the carpet cleaning adapter (19) fl at on the
fl oor and place the cleaning head with the fl oor cloth in the carpet
cleaning adapter.
