Assembling / Dismantling the Device

CAUTION!
❐ Danger of electric shock! During assembly and dismantling, the device must not be connected
to the mains power and must have been cooled down.
❐ The fl oor cloth and the carpet glider are hot during and shortly after use! Allow the fl oor cloth
and carpet glider to cool down fi rst before you remove or replace them!
1. Lay out all accessory parts carefully on a fl at fl oor. To be on the safe side, place a protective fi lm
underneath the parts to prevent any damage to delicate surfaces.

Telescoping Rod

Attaching / Detaching the Cleaning Foot

• Insert the telescoping handle rod into the upper opening of the
main unit. The handle rod must be heard to engage in place.
• To detach the handle rod, press the release button and as you do
so pull the handle rod out.
• Insert the cleaning foot into the receiving slot on the main unit.
The cleaning foot must be heard to engage in place.
• To detach the cleaning foot, press the release button on the main
unit and as you do so pull the cleaning foot out.
