8. Hold the appliance by the handle and tip it slightly towards the fl oor in order to release it
from the upright locking position.
9. Slowly slide the cleaning head back and forth over the fl oor. The fl oor will be cleaned in the
process.
10. If during use no steam or only a small amount of steam is generated, check whether there is
suffi cient water in the water reservoir and fi ll it up again. Push the
you fi ll the tank.
11. Before you wash out the fl oor pad or once you have fi nished cleaning the fl oor, push the
On / Off switch and pull the mains plug out of the socket. Never pull on the cord, but
always on the plug.
12. Wait a few minutes for the appliance to cool off before you remove the fl oor pad. Be aware
that when turning off the appliance a wet area can form beneath the cleaning
head.
13. Follow the instructions in the section "After use".

ATTENTION!
❐ Risk of injury! Only hold the appliance by the handle during operation.
❐ Always work with suffi cient lighting.
❐ Never attempt to smooth clothing when it is being worn by someone.
❐ When smoothing fabrics, always test the appliance on a small, unnoticeable area fi rst. Make
sure that there is enough space around the piece of clothing you intend to smooth. For this,
it must be hanging on a clothes hanger and may not come into contact with other pieces of
clothing, objects, persons or animals.
❐ Only hang up the fabric you intend to smooth where there is no risk of heat or moisture
infl icting damage.
1. Take the main unit out of the bracket and connect either the furniture cleaner or extension
tube with the nozzle adapter and the desired nozzle (see chapter "Assembling the device"
and "Device functions (nozzle functions)").
2. Fill the water tank (see chapter "Filling the water tank").
3. Turn the knob for the steam quantity control (11) to the minimum.
4. Insert the mains plug in a properly installed socket that is easily accessible. Push the
switch (13) on the front of the main unit. The power LED (10) will illuminate in red as soon as
operating voltage is present. Wait a few minutes until the appliance has reached the operating
temperature.
5. Now you can start to clean the fl oor. Set the knob for the steam quantity control (11) from
position 0 to 1. Steam will begin to be emitted from the cleaning head. You can now increase
the quantity of steam by turning the knob for the steam quantity control.
Note: After the knob is turned, it will take a few seconds until the respective steam quantity
is reached.
6. Slowly let the nozzle glide over the surface to be cleaned.
