Special Cases
• Some fi lter holders have a slight nook: please make
sure that the ps of the screws do not lean against
the nook to prevent Addy from detaching.
• In case of taps that are slightly fl ared / rounded (like
kitchen taps), mount the screws on the straight side
of the fi lter and never on fl ared parts to prevent the
adaptor from coming off the tap (fi g. 12).
Holding Addy to the tap with the aid of your thumb
as shown in fi g. 13, use the fastening key (P) to screw
the three screws to a secure hold on the tap, following
the direc on indicated by the arrow posi oned
on the cylindrical housing of the screws (fi g. 14).
Once you ghten one of the screws all the way, it is
recommended for even stronger hold, to ghten the
remaining two screws, without forcing them (fi g. 14).
While ghtening the screws, be careful not to
damage the inner gasket to avoid compromising the
hold (fi g. 7).
INSTRUCTIONS and SUGGESTION FOR ADDY:
• Gradually open the tap, do not open the water fl ow
all at once. For a correct use of My Perfect Colon it
is suffi cient to open the tap not at full pressure, but
just un l the water fl ows from the valve located in
the quick connector.
• Ini ally, for the fi rst few moments, there could be
some small leakage of water from the upper part of
Addy but this will quickly stop. If the leakage persists
or becomes excessive, it is recommended to repeat
the process of hooking Addy to the tap.
• Don't touch or move Addy with opened water fl ow
from the tap, in order to avoid compromising the
seal.
• When you are done with Addy, simply unscrew one
of the three screws to remove it from the tap (fi g.
25).
• A er using Addy it is recommended to dry it and
leave the screws slightly ghtened making sure,
however, that the ps of screws do not deform
deform the gasket (fi g.7).
• If you do not use Addy for a long me, it is possible
that upon the fi rst re-use the movement of the
screws may be harder: without moun ng Addy
to the tap, try to unscrew and ghten the screws
several mes to unlock and facilitate the movement
without force. Should the screws not unlock, use
some spray lubricant in the screw holes where you
would insert the fastening key.
• The use of Addy in case of excessive pressure during
the screwing and repeated use on the same tap can
cause light marks on the fi lter holder of the tap due
to contact with the screws.
• If you leave Addy mounted on the tap, for each new
use is recommended to check that the hold is solid,
making sure the 3 screws are well ghtened.
• When you unscrew the screws, do not force them
once they've reached the end of the travel.
• For extended use of My Perfect Colon on the same
tap, it is recommended to use special fi lters with
threaded adaptors.
• Make sure the fi lter holder is screwed well on the tap
to prevent leakage once the adaptor is mounted.
HOW TO USE MY PERFECT COLON
1. Completely close the fl ow regulator (D) placed at
the end of the spiral tube moving the milled wheel
towards the tube with support and suc on caps (fi g.
17 – posi on "-").
2. Connect My Perfect Colon to the tap fi lter (A) or
Addy (O) using the quick connector (B), inser ng
and rota ng counterclockwise (fi g. 18a – 18b) – for
a be er hold, connect the quick connector using
dry hands.
3. A ach the tube with support and suc on caps (H)
on the frontal side of the toilet seat or on the toilet
itself, pressing on the two suc on caps. The rectal
pipe (N) must be oriented upwards, in the center
of the toilet and the semi-rigid tube (L) modeled
to a "U" shape (as in the "General Pa ern" and in
fi g. 19).
4. Turn on the tap and regulate the desired
temperature (we recommend warm – max 37.5 ° C),
checking the temperature of the water coming out
of the regulatory pressure valve with your hands (B
- fi g. 20 - inside the quick connector, there is a water
fl ow regulatory valve – patented system - which will
automa cally fl ow all the water directly into the
sink/bidet, as the water passage through the device
has been closed previously by the fl ow regulator –
D - point 1).
5. Open slightly the fl ow regulator (D) to check that
water is coming out of the rectal pipe, all the
connec ons are correct and there are no leakages.
6. Keeping the tap turned on, close the fl ow regulator
(D) to interrupt the passage of water inside the
device.
7. Sit on the toilet, placing the tube with support
and suc on caps (H) between the legs and, a er
adjus ng the posi on of the semi-rigid modeling
tube (L), insert the rectal pipe (N) gently into the
anal duct up to about 4-5 cm, assuring that the two
holes from which water comes out are inserted well
inside (fi g. 21).
12
8. Once seated, gradually open the water passage
using the fl ow regulator (D – fi g. 22) up to the
desired level and then start the colon cleanse (fi g.
23 - see the sec ons "Frequency and Dura on" and
"Colon Cleansing Advice" for instruc ons for use
during the cleanse).
9. Once the cleanse has fi nished, remain seated on
the toilet and close the passage of the water using
the fl ow regulator (D – fi g. 22); gently ease out the
rectal pipe (N).
10. Turn off the tap and unscrew the rectal pipe (N)
from the semi-rigid modeling tube (L - reverse
opera on to fi g. 16). Do not use the same rectal
pipe again for other washes. The rectal pipe is
disposable and it must not be used again, even by
the same person.
11. Wash the semi-rigid modeling tube (L – fi g.26):
unscrew the blue mobile fi ng (I – reverse
opera on to fi g. 15), remove the fi nal part of the
semi-rigid tube and clean it carefully, rinsing it
thoroughly. Then dry the semi-rigid modeling tube.
We suggest cleaning all the other parts regularly as
well.
12. Remove the quick connector (B) from the tap and
the support (H) from the toilet seat. Put the dry My
Perfect Colon back into its case.
FREQUENCY AND DURATION OF WASHES
The My Perfect Colon cleanse is done for personal
well being: we suggest it takes place in a relaxed
environment, taking the necessary me and with no
rush.
• It is advisable to do no more than one wash per
week for the fi rst month and no more than 3
washes per week a erwards, unless instructed
otherwise by your doctor;
• Each wash consists of these 3 phases:
1) Filling (fl ow of the water into the rectum);
2) Holding (water is held inside the colon);
3) Emptying (evacua on).
• For a correct execu on of the cleanse it is
recommended to alternate phases of fi lling with
phases of holding, each of the dura on of 5-10
seconds;
• For the fi rst few washes, repeat the fi lling and
holding twice. For further washes, repeat the steps
fi ve mes. At any point, stop fi lling with water
immediately if you feel full, even if this is the fi rst
fi lling and performed only for a couple of seconds;
• The total amount of water used during the cleanse
is subjec ve and it depends on the personal body
structure and condi on. Normally, for each cleanse,
you should not insert more that 1,5 lt of water
overall, during the whole cleanse (1,5 lt passes
through the pipe on average in about 40 seconds
with the tap and water fl ow fully open.);
• With the last phase of water fi lling, try to hold water
inside (without excessive eff ort and for no lopnger
than 4-5 minutes) before evacua ng. A er a few
uses, the resistance to the s mulus will be higher;
• When you let water in the rectum, start the water
fl ow slowly;
• The total dura on of the cleanse may vary and it is
subject to, other than the me necessary for the
fi lling, how long you can hold the water inside the
colon and the me necessary to evacuate, which
can vary from case to case.
COLON CLEANSING ADVICES
• It is preferable, in case of high sensi vity, to grease
the rectal pipe (N) with Vaseline, oil or similar
product before use, in order to facilitate the
inser on of the pipe;
• Before sta ng the cleanse, check the integrity of the
device and correct assembly of the pipes;
• Model the semi-rigid tube (L) un l it forms a "U"
shape (see the General Pa ern and fi g. 19): put the
rectal pipe (N) upwards inside the toilet;
• To facilitate evacua on, take a deep breath, contract
the stomach and massage the area above the pubis
and the le side of the abdomen for about 1-2
minutes. The evacua on will come naturally when
the colon is ready and the feces are so ened;
• Sensi vity to pressure and water temperature are
subjec ve. Each user should evaluate and regulate
them in accordance with their needs, always
keeping in mind all contraindica ons (see the
sec on);
• We recommend, especially during the ini al
cleanses, using My Perfect Colon with a moderate
water fl ow (using the manual fl ow regulator). In
case of excessive water fl ow, reduce it using the
fl ow regulator;
• During evacua on, the rectal pipe (N) may be le in
or taken out of the anal duct;
• Before the cleanse fi nishes, expel all water from the
colon. If all water is not espelled, subsequent light
leakage or slight discomfort may occur.
MAINTENANCE AND CONSERVATION
• We recommend keeping the product well cleaned
and dry in its case between cleanses;
• The fi nal part of the semi-rigid modeling tube (L)
must be washed a er each cleanse (fi g. 16), prior
to being put back in its case, and the connec on
should be removed (point 11 sec on "How to use
My Perfect Colon"). We also recommend cleaning
