medical device.
WARNINGS – PRECAUTIONS OF USE
• In case of discomfort a er cleansing, do not use My
Perfect Colon again and seek medical advice from
your doctor;
• Water temperature: My Perfect Colon must be used
with warm water. Water temperature should be
maintained between 29° and 37.5° C. A er connec ng
My Perfect Colon to the tap, and closing the fl ow
regulator (D), check the temperature of the water
coming out of the "regulatory pressure" valve (B) with
your hands (fi g. 20). Keep in mind that the rectal duct's
sensi vity to hot or cold is higher than the hands. If
during use you feel that the temperature is too hot
or too cold, shut off the water fl ow immediately and
regulate the water temperature again using the tap.
Since some models of gas boilers don't start hea ng
the water right away, it is possible that a er connec ng
My Perfect Colon to the tap the water doesn't come
out warm: in this case, turn on another tap at the same
me to allow the boiler to start.
• Rectal pipe (N): you are advised to insert the rectal
pipe no more than 4-5 cm (checking the two
holes from which the water fl ow comes out are
inserted well inside the anal duct). The rectal pipe is
disposable; it must be used for one wash only, even
if it is used by the same person.
• Water purity: the water used for the colon cleanse
must be clean (normal drinkable water supplied by
the domes c water network). If you believe that the
water coming out of your tap is not of good quality
or is not drinkable, we recommend using a My
Perfect Colon medical fi lter with double membrane
of 1.2 microns (E) to do the colon cleansing.
• Water fl ow: My Perfect Colon is the only at home
colon cleanse system (for rectum and sigma) with
a valve for automa c control of water fl ow(B -
patented system), for guaranteed safety. The water
fl ow in eccess is automa cally drained into the sink
(fi g. 24). Water fl ow can also be controlled manually
during the wash, thanks to the fl ow regulator (D). It
is possible hearing a sound similar to a whistle when
the fl ow regulator is completely closed off and the
tap is s ll running; this is normal and it's due to
10
the high pressure created inside the valve of the
connector. It's possible to eliminate this sound by
reducing the water fl ow from the handle of the tap.
• Colon cleansing must be always done with a low
water fl ow, especially for the fi rst washes, regula ng
the fl ow with the handle of the tap and the manual
fl ow regulator (D). In case of diver culosis, the
water fl ow must be set to minimum.
• Semi-rigid modeling tube (L): model the tube
curving it, making sure you do not fold or crush it,
to ensure right water fl ow.
• Use by children: the My Perfect Colon medical
device can be used by children only with the
pediatrician's approval, and always under the
supervision of one parent.
• A er each colon cleansing, it is useful to take milk
enzymes in order to reintegrate the intes nal
bacterial fl ora.
• It can some mes happen that the eff ect of
washing is so great that the s mulus may return
several mes over the following 2-3 hours. It is
recommended, especially for the fi rst cleanses, to
perform the colon cleansing only when you have
the possibility to use a restroom over the following
2-3 hours. Should this happen, we suggest gradually
reducing the quan ty of water used.
