Adjust the lower ends of the chest harness first
Open the lower tighteners on the hard shell back
or under the seat To do so, simply pull hard on the
free end of the belt webbing and the tightener will
open automatically
Pull the belt webbing to the desired length on one
side
Hold the belt webbing in this position
Then close the flap on the tightener until it lies flat
against the fixed part of the tightener
Repeat this procedure to adjust the other side
Repeat these steps to adjust the upper ends of the
chest harness
Adjust these via the upper tighteners on the hard
back of the seat shell The procedure is identical
as for the lower ends of the chest harness
Important!
Ensure correct strap arrangement
Straps arranged too closely around the
neck lead to a risk of strangulation If the straps
are arranged too loosely around the shoulders,
the straps could slip off the patient's shoulders;
the patient is then no longer secured and could
fall out of the chair, resulting in possible injury
Important!
The patient must always be secured and
under observation at all times
Strap guide plates
Strap guide plates are used to optimally adjust the
chest harness for each patient These allow individual
adjustment of the strap guide The strap guide plates
are already mounted ex-works to the upper, inner
edges of the back
Important!
If strap guide plates are present, always
use these for correct strap guidance To
do this, pull the straps on the right and left through
the provided slot in the center of the plates and
then lock the strap in the clip buckle Make sure
that the straps are not twisted or knotted
The correct height of the straps is to be adjusted as
follows:
Loosen the two screws on the strap guide plates
with an Allen key
Push the plate upwards or downwards into the
best position
Tighten all screws again with an Allen key
Check strap arrangement on the patient
Readjust, as necessary

Reclining supports with Velcro fastening
Reclining supports are shaped to the patient, starting
from the top These pass from the edge of the shell over
the collar bone The pressure of reclining supports
passes from the upper ribcage parallel to the sternum
further outwards, upwards and to the back This pres-
sure helps the patient when erecting the pectoral belt
Reclining supports are screwed firmly to the back of
the shell and are rotated sidewards using the lock, this
allows for easy transfer of the user
Lateral side supports
Lateral side supports support the torso symmetrically,
or displaced the spine accordingly, for example, in case
of an S-scoliosis Various versions of lateral side sup-
ports allow individual adaptation to the patient's needs
For example, permanently fitted lateral side supports
are customized to the patient's need on delivery Ad-
justable lateral side supports can be fitted directly on
site The mounting for the adjustable lateral side sup-
ports is on the hard edge of the rear back part
It is best to adjust the lateral side supports with the
patient seated in the chair In order to achieve an ideal
level of support, adjust one side first and then the other
