Overload protection and other safety features
The circular saw/battery has a number of safety features that prevent damage to
the saw and battery during use.
During short high-load situations the overload protection may switch the circular
saw/battery off. This protection resets automatically. Release the power trigger and
switch the work light off for a few seconds and the overload protection will reset.
Make sure that the circular saw is under no load and switch it back on. The circular
saw should now function normally again.
During high-load for extended periods the overheating protection may switch
the circular saw/battery off. This feature is self-resetting but the circular saw cannot
be restarted until it has returned to normal operating temperature. Let the circular
saw cool before resuming work. Do not expose the circular saw to direct sunlight
for prolonged periods. Doing so could cause the overheating protection to trigger.
The battery has a deep discharge undervoltage protection which operates when
the battery becomes discharged. The deep discharge protection turns the circular
saw off automatically. The battery then needs to be recharged.

Care, maintenance and storage

Warning: Always remove the battery from the saw before performing any
