Adjusting the parallel guide
1. Undo the locking knob (13).
2. Slide the parallel guide (21) into the slot
and set it to the desired length. Tighten
the locking knob.
Important:
- For sawing with the blade totally vertical,
i.e. at 90°, read the scale from notch A.
- For sawing at a bevel angle of 45°,
read the scale from notch B.
- Take the kerf of the blade into
consideration.
Instructions for use
• Make sure that the saw blade is mounted properly before starting to saw.
• Make sure that the workpiece is securely anchored or clamped to prevent it
slipping (especially small or light workpieces). It is the saw that you want to move,
not the workpiece.
• Mark the cut line clearly before starting to cut.
• Place the base plate onto the surface of the workpiece.
• Hold the saw in a firm grip at a comfortable working distance and make sure that
the blade is not touching anything when the saw is turned on.
• Switch the saw on as instructed below and carefully move the blade towards
the workpiece. Do not overload the saw – let it work at its own pace. It is the saw
blade that should do the work; do not force the blade into the workpiece.

Switching on/off

1. Slide the battery into the battery
connection (4) making sure that it
clicks securely into place.
2. Hold in the trigger lock button (8)
on either the right or left side. When
the safety catch is in the middle
position, the trigger is locked.
3. Start the saw by pressing in
the power trigger (6). Release
the trigger lock button.
4. Turn the saw off by releasing
the power trigger.
