Model Functions

a) Adjusting the Elevator Deflection

• First start running the transmitter then the
model.
• The trim lever for the elevator (see also figure
2, pos. 3) has to be in centre position. If the
linkage rod is adjusted correctly, the elevator
(1) and the tail plane (2) are in line (see figure
16a).
• When you pull the right control stick on the
transmitter downwards (see figure 2, pos. 4),
the elevator balance tab (1) has to deflect
upwards by approx. 1 cm (see figure 16b).
When flying, the tip of the model's fuselage
moves up due to this control operation and the
model rises.
• When you push the right control stick on the
transmitter upwards (see figure 2, pos. 4), the
elevator balance tab (1) has to deflect
downwards by approx. 1 cm (see figure 16c).
When flying, the tip of the model's fuselage
moves down due to this control operation and
the model starts a steep dive.
• Depending on the borehole of the elevator horn
into which the clevis is inserted, the rudder
deflection, and with it the reaction of the model
to the control operation, can be influenced
directly.
If the clevis is inserted closer to the pivotal
point of the rudder, this will increase rudder
deflection.
If the clevis is inserted further to the outside,
rudder deflection will decrease.
