11. Final assembly of the
 Model Airplane
Before starting with the assembly of the model, you should ensure an appropriate surface In order to
attain an excellent flight quality, your model is made of particularly light foam.
The material has a very sensitive surface. Small inattentions during the assembly of the
model lead very quickly to ugly dents and holes.

a) Checking the Servo Centre Position

• Before starting to assemble the model, check
the centre position of the servo.
• First, start operation of the transmitter.
• After that, open the two turning locks of the
battery compartment (1) on the bottom side of
the model.
The two connecting cables of the flight control
system (2) are pulled from the inside of the
model through a rectangular opening (3) into
the battery compartment.
• Now connect the flight battery (4) to the flight
control system according to the same principle
as the plug-in charger.
Attention!
When connecting the flight battery observe an adequate safety distance from the propeller.
Do not block it and ensure a suitable safety distance from moving or light objects.
• If the control stick for the motor rotation speed (figure 2, pos. 10) is in the lowest position, the
transmitter (5) emits short audio signals.
If you do not hear the audio signals, push the control stick for the motor rotation speed into the
lowest position. It may also be necessary to push the trim slider for the motor function (see figure
2, pos. 11) further down from the centre position for the controller to clearly identify the control
stick position „Motor Off".
• When the rechargeable battery is inserted, the connecting cable and the connector have to be
pushed through the opening in the battery compartment into the inside of the model, so that there
is enough room for the flight battery in the battery compartment.
