Now attach the servo levers (2) in line with the illustrations
and suspend the ball joint into the ball sockets of the swash
plate rods (3).
Due to the preset rods, the swash plate (4) should be ho-
rizontal (see interrupted line) if the servo levers are at a
90° angle to the rods.
Exact adjustment of the linkage rods takes place at a later
point (see "Checking and adjusting the mechanics").
The top illustration in fig. 5 shows the chassis from the
front.
The bottom illustration in fig. 5 shows the chassis from
the right.
c) Installing the skid gear
First, loosely assemble the skid gear (1) in line with the
illustration. Do not forget to slide on the four rubber
bushings (2) to protect the skid bars.
Then screw on the skid gear from the bottom onto the
chassis with the four 8 x 2 mm screws and align it
symmetrically. The tips of the skid bars (4) should point
slightly inwards.
To prevent the twisting of the skid bars in flight, fix the skid
bars with a bit of super glue on the supports.
Attention!
Only use a minimum amount of glue to allow you to
dismantle the skid bars again for later servicing.
