d) Mounting the tailpipe support
First attach the two tailpipe supports (1) at the rear skid
bar (2) on the chassis. Use one 2 x 8 mm screw (3) with a
conic washer each for this purpose.
At the rear end, the two tailpipe supports are screwed onto
the elevator unit carrier (5) with two 2 x 4 mm screws (4)
incl. conic washers.
Finally, mount the elevator unit (6) on the elevator unit
carrier. Also use two 2 x 6 mm screws (7) and two conic
washers (8) for this purpose.
Attention!
Due to the fact that the elevator unit carrier is made of
aluminium on the REX-X Pro, you must use threaded
screws here.
For the REX-X with plastic tail unit carrier, you must
use self-cutting screws.
