d) The first landing

Like the first flight, the first landing should always be done against the wind. Reduce the motor speed and fly big and flat circles. Do not pull too hard on the
elevator in order to reduce the flying altitude selectively.
Select the last curve before the landing approach so that you have sufficient room for landing and the course does not have to be changed significantly when
landing. When the model is flying along the planned landing line, reduce the motor speed further and keep the model in a horizontal position using the elevator.
Now the model must continue to lose altitude and fly towards the planned touch-down point at the end of the imaginary landing line.
Especially in this critical flying phase, always ensure sufficient flying speed (see "The first flight - stall") and do not slow down the model too much by reducing
the motor speed too abruptly or pulling the elevator too hard.
It is only shortly before touch-down that the motor is stopped and the model lands with the elevator fully pulled.

13. Replacing the crystal

In order to avoid a double channel assignment, it may be necessary to change the crystals on your remote control system.
For safety reasons, you should only use crystals that have been explicitly recommended by the supplier for use in your remote control system.
To replace the crystal, proceed as follows:
• With the transmitter switched off, pull the transmitter crystal holder from the back of the transmitter casing (see ill. 2, pos. 8).
• Take the transmitter crystal out of its plastic holder. Insert the replacement crystal with a different channel within the same frequency band. Make sure you put
the right crystal into the holder. Transmitter crystals are normally marked with the letter T or TX (T = "transmitter"). Put the crystal holder back into the
transmitter.
• With the flight battery disconnected, remove the receiver crystal from the crystal holder in the model.
• The suitable receiver crystal has to be labelled with the same channel number as the transmitter crystal. In addition, it has the letter code R or RX (R =
receiver) on it.
• Insert the replacement crystal with the frequency of the transmitter into the receiver.
• Switch on the transmitter followed by the receiver and check the function and the range of the system.
