9. Driver/software installation


Install the drivers and the software on the CD prior to connecting the microscope
camera with the computer.
• Place the CD included in the delivery in the corresponding drive of your computer.
• If the installation program does not start automatically, open the CD with the Windows file
manager and start the program "VT101Setup.exe".
• Install the drivers (this may take 1 to 2 minutes) and the application program. Follow the
instructions of the software/Windows.
• Once the software installation is complete, a new icon is created on the desktop; the start
menu also shows a new entry.

With newer versions of the CD/software, the installation process may vary.
Refer to the content of the CD and/or the information contained on it.

10. Connection to the computer


Install the drivers and the software on the CD prior to connecting the microscope
camera with the computer (see chapter 9).
• Connect the miniature USB socket (6) with a free USB port on your computer or to a USB
hub with its own power supply.
• When you first connect the microscope camera to the PC, Windows recognises where
necessary any new hardware and completes driver installation.

The rechargeable batteries are charged automatically when connecting the
device to a USB port.
