The device must not be set up in the vicinity of other devices with
strong magnetic fields.
The camera should not be placed in the vicinity of devices with
strong electrical fields, such as cell phones, radio sets and electrical
motors, et cetera.
They could have a negative influence on the image quality.
Direct sunlight and/or bright illumination, et cetera may have a
strong influence on the image and may make watching the pictures
more difficult.
Please observe this fact when selecting the mounting place.
Chose a suitable place for the camera.
The recommended installation height of the camera lens (3) is
approx. 1.8 m.
The mounting height depends on the object to be monitored.
Prior to the final installation, we recommend to connect the
camera and to look at the corresponding camera image on the
monitor / TV set to make sure that the area to be monitored is
shown. Please proceed as described in the chapter on connec-
tion (next chapter).
Use the boreholes of the mounting base as a drilling jig..
Make sure there are no electric wires, water pipes,
et cetera behind where you will be drilling.
Screw the mounting base into place with the screws included.
Use dowels, if and when required.
Use as suitable screwdriver.
Screw the thread (2) of the camera down to the mounting base, and
use the nut to counter the screw connection.

Connecting the device

Use a direct current source with a 12 Volt output as a
power supply. Never try to operate the high-resolution
mini camera on any other voltage.
The constant voltage source has to be able to supply a
minimum current of 80 mA. Never overload the voltage
source.
The camera is connected to the monitor / TV set by means of a BNC
connector. The camera has been provided with a low voltage sock-
et for power supply.
Connectors:
BNC connector (4):
low voltage socket (5): voltage supply
Connect the constant voltage source up to the low volt-
age socket (5).
The constant voltage source has to be switched off.
Connector: 5.5 / 2.1 mm
Please make sure that the voltage is polarised correctly.
Check the terminals with a measuring instrument, if and
when necessary.
Connect the video input up to the BNC connector (4). If your moni-
tor / TV set has been equipped with a cinch socket only, use an
adaptor (BNC connector to cinch).
