Allen Eingangssignalen ist eine Priorität zugewie-

sen. Ein Signal mit einer höheren Priorität überdeckt
immer ein Signal mit niedriger Priorität, wenn beide

Signale gleichzeitig am Verstärker anliegen. (Die
Signale mit gleicher Priorität werden gemischt.) Die
folgende Tabelle zeigt verschiedene Einstellmög-
lichkeiten.

6 Defining the Priority of Input Signals

A priority is assigned to all input signals. A signal of
higher priority always covers a signal of lower prio-
rity if both signals are simultaneously applied to the
amplifier. (Signals of the same priority are mixed.)
The table below shows various possibilities for
adjustment.

7 Bedienung

Ist der Verstärker ausgeschaltet, und liegt die Netz-
oder die Notversorgungsspannung an, leuchtet die
Anzeige STAND BY (25).
1) Vor dem ersten Einschalten zunächst alle fünf
Eingangsregler LEVEL (8 und 10) sowie den
Regler MASTER (21) in die Position "0" stellen.
2) Mit dem Schalter POWER (24) den Verstärker
einschalten. Die Anzeige STAND BY erlischt, und
die Anzeige AC (23) leuchtet. Bei einen Netzaus-
Änderung
fall und anliegender Notstromversorgung leuch-
tet die Anzeige DC anstelle der Anzeige AC.

MASTER (21) die Lautstärke einstellen. Bei
Übersteuerung leuchtet in der Pegelanzeige (7)
die rote LED CLIP. Dann die Lautstärke mit dem
Regler MASTER reduzieren.
3) Um die Lautstärke für normale Durchsagen ein-
zustellen, die Taste ALL CALL wieder ausrasten.

7 Operation

When the amplifier is switched off and the mains
voltage or emergency supply voltage is applied, the
LED STAND BY (25) lights up.
1) Prior to switching on the amplifier for the first
time, set all five input controls LEVEL (8 and 10)
and the MASTER control (21) to the position "0".

Adjusting the volume

2) During the announcement, adjust the volume
with the MASTER control (21). In case of over-
load, the red LED CLIP lights up on the level dis-
play (7). In this case, reduce the volume with the
MASTER control.
3) To adjust the volume for normal announcements,
unlock the button ALL CALL again. Instead press
all buttons (4) of the individual speaker zones.

4) Eine Ansage wie unter Punkt 1) b bis d beschrie-
ben durchgeben. Hinweise:
Am PA-1120PTT den Schalter PRIORITY (47) in
die obere Position stellen.
Am PA-1120RC die Taste ALL CALL (61) nicht
drücken, dafür alle Schalter Z 1 bis Z 5 (60).
5) Den Regler MASTER (21) nicht verändern, son-
dern während der Durchsage mit den entspre-
chenden Zonenabschwächern (5) für jede Zone
getrennt die gewünschte Lautstärke einstellen.
6) Anschließend für die Signale der übrigen Ein-
gänge (z. B. Hintergrundmusik) die Lautstärke
mit dem dazugehörigen Regler LEVEL (8 oder
10) einstellen.
7) Für jeden verwendeten Eingang den Klang mit
den entsprechenden Reglern
TREBLE (9 und 11) einstellen.
8) Eventuell kann es erforderlich sein, die Lautstärke
der Eingangssignale mit den entsprechenden
Reglern (8 bzw. 10) noch einmal nachzuregeln.
9) Nicht verwendete Eingänge mit den entspre-
chenden Reglern auf „0" stellen.
7.2

Beschallungszonen aktivieren

1) Mit den Tasten SPEAKER ZONES SELECTOR
(4) die Zonen einschalten, die beschallt werden
sollen. Zur Kontrolle leuchten die grünen LEDs
der aktivierten Zonen.
2) Für Durchsagen an alle Zonen die Taste ALL
CALL (6) drücken. Gleichzeitig wird die Laut-
stärke der Zonen auf Maximum angehoben [ent-
spricht dem Einstellen aller Zonenabschwächer
(5) in die Position 6].
7.3 Gong
Durch Betätigung der Sprechtaste TALK (49 bzw.
58) am Tischmikrofon PA-1120PTT bzw. am Kom-
mandomikrofon PA-1120RC ertönt vor einer Durch-
sage der Gong. Bei Verwendung anderer Mikrofone

during the announcement.
6) Then adjust the volume for the signals of the
other inputs (e. g. background music) by means
of the corresponding LEVEL control (8 or 10).
7) Adjust the sound for each input used by means of
the corresponding controls BASS and TREBLE
(9 and 11).
8) It might be necessary to readjust the volume of
the input signals by means of the corresponding
controls (8 or 10).
9) Set the inputs that are not used to "0" by means
of the corresponding controls.
7.2

Activating the speaker zones

1) Switch on the speaker zones to be activated by
means of the buttons SPEAKER ZONES SE-
LECTOR (4). The green control LEDs indicate
the activated zones.
2) For announcements to all zones, press the but-
ton ALL CALL (6). At the same time, the volume
of the zones is increased to maximum [corre-
sponds to the adjustment of all zone attenuators
(5) to position 6].
7.3 Chime
When actuating the TALK button (49 or 58) on the
desk microphone PA-1120PTT or on the zone
paging microphone PA-1120RC, a chime will pre-
cede an announcement. When using other micro-
phones, the chime can also be triggered with the
button CHIME (12). Adjust the volume of the chime
with the LEVEL control (13).
