DESCRIPTION

The appliance comprises a fully welded, hermetically sealed steel
chamber. The firebox is coated on the inside with cast iron and
refractory (IRONKER) plates.
Inside are a grate holder and a thick flat cast iron grate, both easy
to extract.
The appliances feature an integrated air circuit for recovering heat,
comprising a guard on the heating body, in galvanized steel. The
door is mounted on extendable ball guides guaranteeing efficient,
silent and highly reliable operation.
The counterweights for lifting the door are supported by a sturdy
chain with relative pinions.
The door also features a single piece of ceramic glass (able to
withstand temperatures up to 700° C).
This ensures a clear view of the flames. It also prevents all sparks
and smoke from escaping. There is an easy to extract ash drawer
under the firebox's grate.
The room is heated:
a) By convection: heat is released into the room by air
passing through the firebox's cladding and hood.
b) By radiation: heat is released into the room through the
glass door and refractory (IRONKER) body.
The appliance features primary and secondary air regulator for
regulating combustion air. The 500 Corner fireplace differs from
the 400 Flat 800 Corner fireplace in that it features separate
regulators for primary and secondary air (see Picture 1 1A – right-
hand lever for primary air; 2A – left-hand air lever) as opposed to
just one regulator for both types of air (see Picture 2).
1A – PRIMARY air regulator
The primary air regulator under the firebox's door allows you to
regulate the flow of air via the air tray and grate to the fuel.
Primary air is necessary for the combustion process when
lighting the fire.
To open the flow of primary air:
For the 400 model you need to move the regulator fully to
-
the left (Picture 1);
For the 500 model you need to move the right-hand
-
regulator fully to the right (Picture 2 1A).
-
For the 800 model, the bar must be completely pulled out
(Picture 3).
2A – SECONDARY air regulator
To open the flow of secondary air:
For the 400 model you need to move the regulator fully to
-
the right (Picture 1) and primary air is fully closed off.
-
For the 800 model When the bar is pushed to the back the
passage of the secondary is completely open.
-
For the 500 model you need to move the left-hand regulator
fully to the right (Picture 2 2A),
