Replacing the fuses

Always carefully follow the safety instructions when replacing fuses! Make sure that only fuses of the type
and rated current specified are used as replacements. Using repaired fuses or bridging the fuse bracket
is not permitted.
After successfully replacing the fuse(s), screw the housing back on again carefully. Only
operate the measuring device if the housing is securely closed and screwed down.

TROUBLESHOOTING

In purchasing the DMM, you have acquired a product that has been designed to the state of the art and
is operationally reliable.
Nevertheless, problems or malfunctions may still arise.
For this reason, the following is a description of how you can eliminate possible malfunctions yourself.
Observe the safety instructions at all times.
Fault
The multimeter does not function.
Measurement of current is not
possible.
The measuring value does not
change.

To replace the fuses, disconnect the measuring device from all measurement
circuits.
Remove all test leads and turn off the measuring device.
Remove the two lower rubber pads on the back of the device, unscrew the four
back screws, and carefully open the housing. The fuses can now be accessed.
Remove the defective fuse(s), and replace only with a fuse (or fuses) of the same
type and current rating.
Fuse 1 for protecting the mA range:
0.5 A 250 V fast-acting 5 x 20 mm (F0.5A 250V)
Fuse 2 for protecting the 10A range:
10 A 250 V fast-acting 5 x 20 mm (F10A 250V)
Possible cause
Is the battery dead?
Is the fuse for the mAµA or the 10A measuring range defective?
Check the fuse (fuse replacement).
Is the HOLD function active? Press the HOLD button.
