PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The digital multimeter (hereinafter referred to as the "DMM") has a high-contrast, 4 3/4-digit liquid crystal
display (LCD) with display of functions and units of measurement as well as an integrated bar graph
display. The display resolution can be changed from 40,000 counts to 4,000 counts. This increases the
display rate.
A fold-out stand (4) on the back allows the device to be positioned at a slight angle for easier reading of
the display during measurements.
The individual measurement types are selected via the rotary switch, in which "auto range" (the automatic
range selection) is active. The automatic range selection always sets the appropriate measuring range.
Additional functions include the following:
• MIN/MAX" for recording minimum and maximum measured values
• "PEAK" for recording the peak value
• "HOLD" for freezing a measured value
• "REL" for performing a relative measurement (in relation to a reference value)
• "STORE/RECALL" for recording and recalling various measurements (VC920 and VC-940: 10
measurements / VC960: 10,000 measurements)
• An automatic switch-off function (Auto Power Off) switches the DMM off after a preset time to preserve
the batteries.
• Display backlight with on/off function
• Optical interface
• Setup menu for individual setting of various parameters
The universal measuring device can be used by amateurs, professionals, and students alike.
A 9V alkaline battery, e.g., type 6LR61, MN1604, 6F22, or 006P, is required/used for supplying the
power.
