Warning information with the following meanings is
used in this Instruction Manual and in the warning
information on the products:
Danger
means that death, severe personal injury or
substantial damage to property will occur if
the appropriate safety precautions are not
observed.
Warning

0.4 Approved Use

• The devices must only be used for applications
described in the Catalog and the Instruction
Manual, and only in conjunction with other devi-
ces and components recommended by or ap-
proved of by Siemens.
• The products have been developed, manufactu-
red, tested and documented in accordance with
the appropriate safety standards. If the handling
guidelines and safety information are observed
during configuring, assembly, approved use and
maintenance, the products do not therefore pre-
sent a danger in the normal case with respect to
property or the health of persons.
