8. Maintenance
There must always be sufficient grinding liquid
in the Green Pointer Pro to ensure optimum
collection of grinding dust and adequate cooling
for the grinding process.
For correct liquid level, check the ~~~ mark on
the inspection cover frame (7). Check the liquid
level frequently and refill, if necessary. Use
original Green Pointer grinding liquid to ensure
long life of the diamond wheel.
Replace heavily contaminated grinding liquid.
Grinding liquid or receivers containing
grinding dust must be deposited according
to national regulations.
After 10-15 hours of continuous operation, the
grinding chamber should be rinsed thoroughly.
Tap off the grinding liquid through the tapping
hose (29) into a returnable bottle. Dismount the
dust collector (39). Remove screw for
inspection cover (21A), plastic inspection cover
(6) and frame (7), and wash out the grinding
chamber with water; fill the contaminated water
into the bottle.
Then remount plastic inspection cover, frame
and dust collector. Refill grinding liquid.
It is advisable for the person cleaning the Green
Pointer Pro to wear appropriate protective
equipment.
Check the mains cables at regular intervals.
Only authorized professionals are allowed to
replace mains cables. For information about

Replacement of grinding wheel

To replace the grinding wheel, proceed as
follows:
 Switch off the power and pull out the plug.
 Tap off the grinding liquid; remove screw for
inspection cover (21A), plastic inspection
cover (6) and frame (7). The grinding wheel
(4) is now accessible. Unscrew the M5 left-
hand screw (23) and remove the U-wheel
(26). Remove the grinding wheel (4) and
insert a new grinding wheel.

10. Field of Application

The Green Pointer Pro is only intended for
grinding tungsten electrodes.

12. Training
No special education is required to operate the
Green Pointer Pro. Persons operating the

handling the machine.
