Appliance description, installation

The appliance is intended for cooking food in the wok pan. It has

a specially-shaped wok cavity for holding the wok pan supplied.
The appliance is used for cooking food with standard cookware
(pots, pans, etc.). The dual-circuit cooking zone can be used to
adapt the cooking zone to the base of the cookware.
The appliance is intended for cooking food direct on the hot
glass-ceramic surface.
Besides using the appliance for grilling sausages, steaks, etc.,
the cavity can be used for making pancakes.
The appliance can also be operated with cookware (pots, pans,
etc.) on the glass-ceramic surface provided that the cookware fits
into the cavity.
Operating the hob with the sensor
buttons
The ceramic glass hob is operated with touch control sensor but-
tons. The sensor buttons are operated as follows: lightly touch a
symbol on the surface of the ceramic glass plate.
The touch control sensor button will then be indicated as "button".
ON/OFF button
This button is used to switch the entire hob on and off. It is, as it
were, the main switch.
Minus button
/ Plus button
These buttons are used to set the cooking levels.
The minus button reduces the setting and the plus button raises
it.
The setting can be deleted by pressing both buttons simultane-
ously.
Two-circuit button
(only for models with two circuits)
To activate the second heating circuit.

Power setting display
The power setting display shows the power setting which has
been selected, or:

Decimal point . . . . . . . Automatic boost function

Installation of the appliance

The hob is set up for use on a kitchen worktop, a dining table or
on the balcony, etc. It is plugged into a nearby socket.
Important!
When setting up the appliance make sure that it is placed on a
dry, sturdy, horizontal, temperature-resistant, washable surface.
Allow for clearance of at least 15 cm around the appliance and
remember that fat may squirt in the surrounding area.
Power connection
Insert the power plug into a shockproof socket which has been
installed in accordance with regulations. The socket should be
accessible for pulling out the power plug.
Power may not be supplied from an extension cable with a multi-
ple socket.
The power supply cable must be positioned so that children can-
not pull on it (risk of burns) and it must be ensured that they will
not trip over it.
Aligning the sensors after connection to the mains
A self-test is carried out on the control system after connection to
the mains. A minus sign will be displayed
Important! Make sure that there is nothing on the sensors while
they are being aligned. Avoid strong light (e.g. sunlight, halogen
lamps, etc.).
