Steps to Take
1.
Switch the PC on.
2.
Insert a plug (RJ-45) of the patch cable into the jack labelled with
lower side of the telephone.
Important: If you connect a PC to the socket on the bottom of the
telephone that is labelled with

Insert the other plug (RJ-45) of the patch cable into the network connection
port of your PC.

Configuring the Telephone via the Configuration Manager

Requirements
– Existing network connection between the PC and the telephone
– Knowledge of the IP address of the telephone (can be queried under All
apps > Settings > Ethernet)
– For the operation as system telephone: Knowledge of the admin user name
and of the admin password of the Auerswald PBX
Steps to Take
1.
Start a browser (for example, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Internet Explorer).
2.
Enter the IP address of the telephone in the address field/address bar of the
browser (for example, http://192.168.178.4).
Note: If operated as standard VoIP telephone: If you start the configuration
manager for the first time, a dialogue box will be opened in a first step which
serves to set the user name and the user password. Enter these parame-
ters as requested.

Under User name and Password, enter the following parameters.

Click on OK.

Take note of the socket labels.
The login window opens.
