Flash file system error
A routine check of the file system during start of the
EXAConnecT access point has found an inconsisten-
cy in the flash memory. Only a reserve system is run-
ning in order to display this message and to initiate
countermeasures. A normal operation of the access
point is not possible.
Note: All data that were saved in the flash memory of
the access point (including the firmware) are lost!
Reformat the flash memory in order to reset it back to
the state on delivery. Contact the manufacturer if the
error continues to occur.

Internal Bluetooth error

The Bluetooth
interface of the EXAConnecT access
point is not accessible or is no longer accessible or

protocol stack reports unexpect-
ed errors.
Restart the system. Contact the manufacturer if the
error continues to occur.

Internal system error
The operating software of the EXAConnecT access
point had an internal exception error (exception).
Restart the system. Contact the manufacturer if the
error continues to occur.

Bluetooth error Screwdriver <N>
The screwdriver having the internal index N has re-

sponded via the Bluetooth
rect format or has not responded at all.
Replace the rechargeable battery of the screwdriver
or replace the screwdriver itself. Contact the manu-
facturer if the error continues to occur.
BT-EXACT/BT-ANGLEEXACT
Screwing System
The screwing system BT-EXACT/BT-ANGLEEXACT
makes possible wireless data transmission of screw-
ing signals by using Bluetooth
Transmitted are OK and NOK signals (screwing in or-
der/not in order) of the industrial battery-operated
screwdrivers of the series BT-EXACT and BT-
ANGLEEXACT to access point EXAConnecT.
Without access point EXAConnecT, screwdrivers of
the series BT-EXACT and BT-ANGLEEXACT cannot
be put into operation: The screwdrivers are locked
when they are delivered and can be unlocked only by
access point EXAConnecT.
Start up access point EXAConnecT first.

LED Indicator on the Screwdriver
Battery Condition Indicator
In the screwdriver data field on the PC display
screen, the symbol for the rechargeable battery
state 32 appears as a half-filled rechargeable
battery.
If the LED indicator 40 lights red, the capacity is no
longer sufficient for a new screw fastener. The tool
can no longer be switched on. The switch lock re-
mains active until a charged rechargeable battery is
inserted.
In the screwdriver data field on the PC display
screen, the rechargeable battery symbol 32 ap-
interface with an incor-
pears as an empty rechargeable battery.
Replace the rechargeable battery (see operating in-
structions of the screwdriver Connection to the Pow-
er Supply).
Press the on/off switch of the screwdriver in order to
activate the Bluetooth
®
wireless technology.
In the screwdriver data field on the PC display
screen, the rechargeable battery symbol 32 ap-
pears as an empty rechargeable battery with a
question mark.
When you perform out a screw fastening, the charge
state of the rechargeable battery, in addition to the
screwing signal, is also transmitted to the access
point.
In the case of an optimal rechargeable battery
charge state, the rechargeable battery symbol 32
appears in the screwdriver data field on the PC
display screen as a filled rechargeable battery.

If the charging of the battery 23 is neces-
sary, the LED indicator 40 blinks green.
You can still use the power tool for approx.
6–8 screw fasteners.
The screwdriver symbol 31 in the
screwdriver data field is crossed
out, because the screwdriver is
locked until a charged rechargea-
ble battery is inserted.
