Max. job time [250 ms increments]
The default setting is the value: 0. The function is
out of operation.
Here, enter the time, in increments of 250 ms, for
the entire screwing job (minimum value, 250 ms;
maximum value, 600,000 ms).
Please check the values once again for correct-
ness after saving – clicking of OK or Apply.
If the total time for the screwing job lies outside of
the timeframe, the screw fastening is terminated
with a corresponding error code and the error
code is shown in the screw fastener table of the
EXAConnecT and Screwdriver Register Cards.
Service and Calibration
Limit absolute number of fasteners
In the default setting, the value is set at In
999,995.
Here, enter the number of screw fasteners, which,
when attained, means that a maintenance of the
screwdriver is due (maintenance interval). For
each screwdriving action, the program counts
backwards. When the value zero is attained, a
warning is generated and the screwdriver is
locked. Carry out the required maintenance work
and enter a new maintenance interval.
Note: The warning is purely for purposes of infor-
mation. Entry of a new service interval allows ad-
ditional screw fastenings to be carried out. The
warning is repeated until the Java applet is re-
started.
Next calibration [date: DDMMYY]
The value set here provides notification of the date
of the next calibration.
Copy settings from other screwdriver
Mark the desired screwdriver in the field of the screw-
drivers that are logged on and click the button Copy
from selected.
The setup data of the marked screwdriver will be
used for the current screwdriver.
Save/Load settings to/from File
Using the button Save to XML File, you can cave the
current settings in XML format.
Using the button Load from XML File, you can load
the settings that are saved in XML format.
System buttons
In order to save your settings, activate the function
OK or Apply.
Click on the button OK:
The settings will be saved and the window closed.
Note: After the various setup settings have been
saved or closed, the settings have to be reexam-
ined on account of the Java applet. To do this,
open the setup window once again and check all
of the changes.
Click on the button Apply:
The settings will be saved, but the window re-
mains open.

Click on the button Cancel:
The window will be closed without any change in
the settings.
Click on the button Print Setup:
The settings of the access point will be displayed
in a separate window (html page) and can be
printed directly from the Internet browser.
Click the button Back to Default.
All screwdriver data will be set back to the default
settings on delivery of the BT screwdriver.
Note: In order for the setup settings to take effect,
the Java applet has to be restarted!
The entries in the Screwdriver Setup may be
changed again at any time.
Note: Entries in the Screwdriver Setup are possible
only for locked screwdrivers. For unlocked screw-
drivers, the Screwdriver Setup is accessible only in
read mode (read only). There appears a correspond-
ing message, which you must confirm with OK.
When all settings are made in the EXAConnecT Setup
and in the Screwdriver Setup, all data appear in the
data fields of the various register cards (see above
under Register Card Overview, EXAConnecT Regis-
ter Card, and Screwdriver Register Card).
Access Point EXAConnecT
Before you open the tool, take
care that it is not connected to
the power supply. The housing of the tool must be
completely voltage-free, because, otherwise, there
exists the danger of electric shock.

Switch 1:
Position ON
Normal operation of the EXAConnecT.
Position OFF
The EXAConnecT access point may be set per-
manently at the IP address 10.10.10.10. This is
recommended when you want to have mainte-
nance and service work performed.
