• Very low outdoor temperatures (less than -20 °C) decrease battery and in particular rechargeable
battery performance. Therefore, only use high-quality alkaline batteries for the outdoor sensor,
but no rechargeable batteries.
• Another transmitter on the same or an adjacent frequency interferes with the outdoor sensor
radio signal. It may be helpful to reduce the distance between the weather station and outdoor
sensor.
No DCF Reception
• Perform a manual search for the DCF signal, see chapter 10. a).
• The weather station is installed close to other electronic devices or close to electrical lines or
metal parts. Buildings made of reinforced concrete, metal-coated insulating glass windows and
setup in a basement also prevent good reception of the DCF signal.
• The DCF reception is best at night, when there are least interferences by electronic devices
(e.g. TVs or computers are off). Just wait for the next day; the weather station should display
the DCF time and date then since it performs several reception attempts at night.
Rising/setting time for sun/moon is incorrect
• Set the correct country. Also set the city near which you and the weather station are located.
• The weather station only calculates approximates. The precise times are due to local situations
(e.g. mountains).
Barometric pressure is incorrect
• The data from the internet or radio/TV are always indicated referring to sea level. This is the
„relative barometric pressure".
• Switch the barometric pressure display to relative barometric pressure. T hen correct the indicated
value; see chapter 10. m).
Temperature display „LL.L" or „HH.H"
• If the measured temperature undercuts the admissible measuring range, the display shows
„LL.L".
• If the admissible measuring range is exceeded, the display shows „HH.H".
